Our in-house manufactured hydraulic rotary joints models, the DR115 and DR116, have been designed to work in rotary or oscillating motion. They consist of a toroidal section tension ring and a Teflon grooved sliding ring, with various possible loads or polyurethane.
The star applications, where we can mount this type of rotary joint for hydraulics, are hydraulic distributors and machine tools, achieving high performance and a low friction coefficient due to the different possible materials.
Types of hydraulic seals
Hydraulic rotary joints DR115 and DR116, are designed to work at speeds up to 2 m/s and at high pressures up to 300 Bar and their working temperature range is between - 20ºC and 115ºC.
The DR115 rotary joint for hydraulics, is designed as a double-acting low friction seal for use on shafts in rotating or oscillating applications, while the version DR116 is a double-acting gasket to ensure sealing on the outside diameter.

We have a wide range of materials available for their manufacture: from Teflons with various loading options to thermoplastics, along with the ability to combine with different O-ring materials.
Advantages of our hydraulic seals
At Epidor Seals and Rubber Tech we offer you several competitive advantages with our hydraulic rotary joint models:
- The option of manufacture gaskets with dimensions outside the standard dimensions and with different degrees of tolerance. This will allow you to have more or less play and less friction, depending on the application you choose.
- The production speed. Your hydraulic rotary joints will be available within 24 to 48 hours. For the production of large series, we advise you to consult the delivery time.
