As every year, we attended the EUSGA convention that took place in the Norwegian capital Oslo in 2023. The main actors of each country related to watertightness were able to discuss about different areas related to this discipline.
The European Seals and Gaskets Association (EUSGA) is a European association representing the seals and gaskets industry in Europe. Its main objective is to promote and protect the interests of seal and gasket manufacturers and suppliers in the region.
This association, of which we are a member, works to improve the quality, safety and performance of seals and gaskets used in a wide range of industrial applications, such as automotive, energy, construction, chemical and many others.
In addition, EUSGA acts as a platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices among its experts, who have forged close alliances over the years.
It also organizes events, conferences and seminars where experts can discuss relevant topics, share technical information and address common challenges in the field of sealing.
EUSGA 2023
The 2023 edition, hosted locally by Otto Olsen, was divided into different events:
- Analysis of the economic and political situation of each European country.
- Explanations on the latest news and market trends.
- Topics of general interest such as sustainability or cyber security.
- Presentations by geopolitical experts.
Once the events were over, a fair of selected and invited suppliers took place to share their latest innovations with all members.
Of course, all this in a typically Scandinavian atmosphere of relaxation would be conducive to networking and active exchange of ideas.
