DK 142

Model DK 142 is a double-acting low-friction seal for positioning cylinders in light hydraulics and pneumatics. It consists of a slip ring energized with a DFL 106 O-ring. The section of the slip ring is much smaller than that of the O-ring (d2) because its function is to prevent the O-ring from rotating in the groove. The slip ring has such a low coefficient of friction that it eliminates the problem of stick-slip.
