The DK 238 profile is a low-friction seal for single-acting cylinders in medium and heavy hydraulics. It consists of a slip ring that is energized with a DFL 109E seal, which has greater interference and stability in the groove than an O-ring. The ring has such a low coefficient of friction that it eliminates the problem of stick-slip.
