The Hallite 38 single-lip wiper/scraper is designed to fit metric housings, including ISO 6195A. The proportions of the wiper lip ensure that contact is maintained with the rod surface to remove heavily deposited contaminants such as mud and ice.
The outside diameter of the wiper incorporates a crush lip to provide an interference fit with the casing. This feature helps prevent contamination from entering the groove.
Hallite 38 is molded in a polyester-based material to provide an abrasion-resistant cleaner for the tough conditions typically found in mining or earthmoving applications.
The entire range can be used with split housing, and most can be installed in blind housing with care.
