The Hallite 864 is a double-lip wiper with metal housing designed to press-fit into open-slot housings of popular Asian housing sizes for a wide range of applications and for use with vent U-rings, such as the Hallite 663 or Hallite 673 rod seal.
The polyurethane wiper element is bonded to a nitrided metal housing, eliminating the possibility of rust. The polyurethane wiper element has a precision-cut sealing lip to collect fluid passing through the rod seal and a special textured wiping lip to provide improved dry rod performance, particularly for long-stroke cylinder applications.
The proportions of the polyurethane cleaning lip follow the lateral movement of the wand to remove heavily deposited dirt and make this cleaner an excellent choice for dirty conditions.
Hallite 864 is molded in Hythane® 361, Hallite's high-performance polyurethane, for excellent in-service durability. Hallite 846 is also offered in Hythane® 181 for lower friction and good low-temperature flexibility.
