DA 119

The function of the scraper is to prevent the entry of dirt and other abrasive particles from the cylinder environment into the cylinder.
Model DA 119 is a low friction scraper consisting of a scraper ring with a double sealing edge made of PTFE material with loads and two O-rings made of elastic material as a tensioning element. It is specifically designed to prevent the ingress of dirt on vertically positioned cylinders such as those of presses.

To ensure proper operation of the scraper, it is recommended that a vent hole be provided in the pocket to adequately relieve pressure surges between the scraper and the stem seal.
