Specifications
Single-acting stem seal consisting of two elements: a PTFE collar (with loads) and a metal spring that tensions the collar and maintains its circular geometry around its entire perimeter, both inside and outside. The sealing lip has a protrusion on the inside that keeps the spring in place.
At low pressure, the force of the metal spring provides seal closure while, as pressure increases, the collar is energized by the fluid pressure itself.
- U-shaped, V-shaped or helical springs.
- Part free of Stick-slip effect.
- Self-adjusting to stem movement.
Both dynamic and static services at high temperature.
