Model DS 138 is a low-friction, double-acting seal used in medium and heavy hydraulic cylinders. It consists of a rectangular section tension ring and a slip ring. The rectangular elastomer section energizes the full height of the slip ring equally, unlike other low friction seals energized with O-rings such as DS 109, DS 124 and DS 129.
