Single-acting seal consisting of two elements: a PTFE collar (with loads) and a metal spring that tensions the collar and maintains its circular geometry around its entire perimeter, both inside and outside.
The sealing lips have a protrusion on the inside that holds the spring in place.
At low pressure, the force of the metal spring provides seal closure while, as pressure increases, the collar is energized by the fluid pressure itself.
