The DS 151 model is a single-acting seal, energized by a helical spring that provides greater sealing tension than U or V springs, thus improving sealing against liquids and gases. The part is designed with an extended heel for improved extrusion behavior. The beveled working lip has a scraping and cleaning effect in abrasive or viscous media.
