DR 118

Model DR 118 is a seal for static or dynamic applications of low rotation, consisting of a PTFE collar (with loads) and a metal spring that tensions the collar and maintains its geometry around its entire perimeter. Both lips of the collar have a protrusion on the inside to hold the spring in place.
The seal deforms axially and is used in the internal pressurization of caps or front rotating systems, such as fuel loading arms.
- U-shaped, V-shaped or helical springs.
- Part free of Stick-slip effect.
- Double spring retention.
The slip ring can be machined in various PTFE formulations.
