Este anillo se conoce como anillo anti-extrusi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>La funci\u00f3n principal de esta <strong>sealing solution<\/strong> is to avoid extrusion of the gasket, caused by the high pressure it has to withstand. Extrusion can occur at these two points:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Extrusion groove on shank:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17734\" src=\"https:\/\/epidor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Grafico-anillo-anti-extrusion-1.png\" alt=\"Illustrative graphic of anti-extrusion ring\" width=\"530\" height=\"213\" \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Extrusion groove on piston:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17731\" src=\"https:\/\/epidor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/Grafico-anillo-anti-extrusion-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"469\" height=\"285\" \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <strong>anti-extrusion ring<\/strong> can be found in both static and dynamic assemblies, in O-rings and\/or collars.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Nuestro_anillo_anti-extrusion_supera_sin_dificultades_los_ensayos_en_la_UPC\"><\/span>Our anti-extrusion ring passes UPC tests without difficulty<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/epidor-srt.com\/blog\/renovamos-nuestro-convenio-con-la-universitat-politecnica-de-catalunya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">test bench that we have at the UPC facilities.<\/a> de Terrassa hemos sometido nuestros anillos anti-extrusi\u00f3n a una serie de ensayos para garantizar que cumplen al 100% con su funci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3n compartimos un esquema que resume las condiciones de esta prueba que busca confirmar la prestaci\u00f3n de estanqueidad del anillo anti-extrusi\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 15.6px;\">Two equal profiles were assembled, one without an anti-extrusion ring and one with a ring. To further exemplify the results, the two profiles were manufactured in soft material and the ring was machined in POM. Afterwards, a test of 50,000 cycles at 200 Bar was launched.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 15.6px;\">3.
