At <strong>Epidor Seals and Rubber Technology<\/strong> we have lathes that are equipped with a bar loading device for high volume series.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We manufacture and supply small and medium series of seals for hydraulics and pneumatics without mold cost.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We also produce short series for prototypes in less than 48 hours. And they can even be combined with each other in what we call the configuration of the sealing system, of which we distinguish 3 groups of parts:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 15.6px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Stem seals<\/strong>, The product range includes the scraper, collars, guides and low friction seals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 15.6px;\">\u2022\u00a0 <strong>Piston seals<\/strong> also consisting of collars, guides, low friction seals and compact seals.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #666666; font-size: 15.6px;\">- The<strong> static seals <\/strong>are parts which, as their name indicates, refer to the static sealing of the various mechanical components of the cylinder. Its main function is to <strong>prevent dirt that may have been deposited on the surface of the piston rod from getting inside the cylinder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We refer to the dust or moisture in the environment of the hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder. This part is located on the outermost part of the cylinder, as shown in the picture above.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Next, we find a collar <strong>(5)<\/strong> and a low friction seal <strong>(6)<\/strong>. Depending on the working conditions, <strong>the design of the parts can be modified and combined<\/strong>, The system can be used with two low friction seals instead of a collar and a low friction seal as shown in the picture below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19101\" src=\"https:\/\/epidor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/SRT_ES_202205_EstanqHN_BLOG_Interior_JuntasVastago_836px-1.jpg\" alt=\"Stem seals diagram - Epidor SRT\" width=\"836\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The guides <strong>(7)<\/strong> play a key role in preventing metal-to-metal contact when low friction seals and collars wear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If guides were not installed, there would come a time when the rod would no longer be able to move due to seizure or contact of the metal rod with the metal cylinder head.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Juntas_de_piston\"><\/span>Piston seals<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Like the piston rod, the main seal that provides sealing between the piston and the cylinder liner is either a collar or a low-friction seal. <strong>(9)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The piston also has guides that perform the same function as on the piston rod, in addition to the correct alignment of the moving assembly. <strong>(8)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And there are even pistons that combine the guide and seal in the same part, in what we call a compact part, for example, the DK 109.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19119\" src=\"https:\/\/epidor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/SRT_ES_202205_EstanqHN_BLOG_Interior_JuntasPiston-DK109_836px-2.jpg\" alt=\"Piston seals - Epidor SRT\" width=\"836\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The white parts are used as guides, while the blue part is the sealing ring.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Juntas_estaticas\"><\/span>Static seals<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They provide sealing between the cylinder head and the cylinder liner, or between the end of the piston rod and the threaded piston.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are pieces that <strong>are not exposed to surface movement<\/strong> against which they provide sealing.
