solidarity and sustainability<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\nThe proposal was soon approved, but at that time the COVID-19 pandemic destroyed all our plans, delaying our desire to participate until this year 2022.<\/p>\n
Once 2022 began, seeing that normality would not be long in coming and restrictions were beginning to loosen, we formed the team of the Trailwalker<\/strong> with those colleagues from across the group of companies who were willing to take on a truly challenging assignment.<\/p>\n![\"EPIFOC](\"https:\/\/epidor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/SRT_ES_202206_OXFAM_TRAILWALKER_Interior_equipo_836px.jpg\")

<\/span>Trailwalker 2022 fundraising initiatives.<\/span><\/h2>\nIn the months leading up to the Trailwalker, different fundraising initiatives were carried out to reach, at least, the minimum amount of 1500 \u20ac.<\/p>\n
Apart from the initial impulse from the company, actions were developed that could involve anyone who wanted to contribute their bit to a cause of solidarity.<\/p>\n
\n- \u2022\u00a0 Donations via OXFAM portal<\/strong>OXFAM Interm\u00f3n team made available to all participating teams a portal where anyone could make a donation. This portal was shared internally throughout the organization and on Epidor Seals and Rubber Technology's LinkedIn profile. Challenge participants also shared it on their personal profiles.<\/span><\/li>\n
- \u2022\u00a0 Sant Jordi Initiative<\/strong>Taking advantage of one of the most original celebrations in Catalonia, we have been collecting books to sell them internally to raise funds.<\/span><\/li>\n
- \u2022\u00a0 Solidarity breakfast in Lli\u00e7\u00e0 de Vall<\/strong>Breakfast at our facilities in Lli\u00e7\u00e0 de Vall where the contributions were destined to the Trailwalker.<\/span><\/li>\n
- \u2022\u00a0 Celler Herms wine for sale<\/strong>Internal sale of lots of wines from the winery located in the heart of Terra Alta, Celler Herms.<\/span><\/li>\n
- \u2022\u00a0 \u201cLa porra\u201d<\/strong>The Trailwalker: A fundraising initiative between the organization in which the goal was to predict the time it would take our team to finish the Trailwalker.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Thanks to the fundraising initiatives and the solidarity of everyone (colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.), we far exceeded the minimum amount of participation and were among the 10 teams with the highest contribution.<\/p>\n
<\/span>The Trailwalker 2022 solidarity challenge<\/span><\/h2>\nThey knew that the challenge was not going to be easy. For this reason, the runners had been training beforehand in some joint outings, in addition to running the Barcelona marathon.<\/p>\n
Prepared, conscientious and above all with great enthusiasm, on May 21 they set off for Olot, the place where the Trailwalker was to begin.<\/p>\n

From here began the odyssey that ended after 17 hours of experiences, emotions and feelings in Sant Feliu de Gu\u00edxols.<\/p>\n
