Ces deux derniers plastiques techniques ont une charge de rupture \u00e0 la compression et une charge de rupture significativement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que celle de l'acier. <\/span><b>PTFE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Toutefois, le <\/span><b>PTFE<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est plus souple et plus \u00e9lastique. Toutefois, il n'est pas recommand\u00e9 de l'utiliser \u00e0 des temp\u00e9ratures sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 80\u00b0C car il commence \u00e0 se ramollir.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plastiques techniques <\/span><b>PEEK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> poss\u00e8de de bonnes propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques, une bonne r\u00e9sistance chimique et une large gamme de temp\u00e9ratures de travail.  En revanche, il s'agit d'un mat\u00e9riau tr\u00e8s dur et peu \u00e9lastique. Les deux <\/span><b>PEEK<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> comme <\/span><b>POM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est recommand\u00e9 lorsque la pression de fonctionnement est tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enfin, le <\/span><b>PTFE vierge<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> est un mat\u00e9riau tr\u00e8s populaire pour les valves \u00e0 clapet en raison de sa tr\u00e8s grande inertie chimique et de son faible coefficient de frottement.
